American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and Jahangirnagar University (JU) organized a dissemination event of the SOHO Project at the Sheraton Dhaka on 18 September 2026, bringing together distinguished representatives from the European Union and prominent public and private universities of Bangladesh.

The event was graced by Mr. Michal Krejza, Ms. Laura Cartanya, and Ms. Nadia Rashid from the EU Delegation to Bangladesh, along with Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees, AIUB; Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, AIUB; Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor, AIUB; and Prof. M. Shamim Kaiser, IIT, Jahangirnagar University. A number of honorable Vice Chancellors, Pro Vice Chancellors, and distinguished academic dignitaries from various public and private universities also attended the event.

Dr. Vladimir Tanasiev delivered the main dissemination presentation, highlighting the project's key activities, achievements, outcomes, and future prospects. Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman and Prof. M. Shamim Kaiser hosted the sessions and facilitated the discussions.
